The midfielder made her first appearance of the season in the Sky Sports Cup victory last weekend before earning her first league minutes in the SWPL win over Motherwell this afternoon.
Speaking to RangersTV after the game and reflecting on her time out, she commented: “I feel in a good place, I just have to build myself up now but I am just going to work hard every day in training and any game time that I get on the pitch is a bonus and I will just give it my all really.
“It is very difficult, I think it would be telling lies if I said it wasn't, but it is part and parcel of the game and unfortunately it has happened to me too many times now.
“I have just worked hard and now I am back on the pitch and I hope that I can stay there and keep building on minutes and training week after week.”
The Northern Ireland international reflected on today’s win and said three points was important after their midweek Old Firm derby draw.
She continued: “Bouncing back? It was really important, obviously we were really disappointed during the week.
“It actually probably felt more like a defeat than a draw but we are still unbeaten and the three points today is the most important thing especially bouncing back from Thursday.
“We know with the players that we have on the pitch that we'll score goals.
“I think it was just a matter of being patient, working them side to side and hopefully breaking them down and we did that in the end.
“The three points are the most important thing.
“A bit of a slow start to the first half but we knew what Motherwell were going to do, they were going to come and make it difficult for us and credit to them, they did that.
“Finally in the second half we found a way to break them down and it was much better performance.”
The 23-year-old spent the second half of the last campaign on loan at Hearts as she spoke of her time away and now being back amongst the group, as the Gers now turn their focus to the first match of the season at Ibrox when they take on Glasgow City next weekend.
She added: “I really enjoyed it; it was six months of going and playing football every week.
“I got exactly what I wanted out of it. I am a Rangers player and I want to be here and I want to make things happen and score for Rangers.
“I am buzzing to be back and I am buzzing to be back with the girls, I feel at home here.
“I think any good team there is competition for spaces and it keeps us all on our toes.
“We know we can't be complacent and we push each other every day in training. It is a really competitive environment and I think it is healthy.
“Competition is healthy and it is just about who can go and be the best every week and we all get a fair chance.
“We can't wait to get back and play at Ibrox. We have got some really good memories there so we are hoping that we can go Saturday and make more good memories and get a good performance and a win.”
