The Light Blues claimed the first silverware of the season last weekend as attention now switches back to league action as they target further trophies.
Speaking to RangersTV as the Gers prepare to take on Hibs in the final SWPL fixture before the international break, the head coach commented: “I said immediately after the final the other day towards the end of the game I was only thinking about Hibs and moving forward and what that looks like.
“We know it is one step at a time, it is one game at a time. You have got to make sure that you are moving on very quickly.
“We did enjoy the celebrations of Sunday and made sure we celebrated it properly. We make sure we take that but we move on quick.
“We have had a good couple of days up to now. We have managed to get back on the pitch and put in some really good work.
“I am happy how things are moving forward; we have just got to make sure that we continue to get the job done and we continue to just not look too far ahead but take each game at a time and make sure that we are really concentrated and being consistent on a week to week basis.”
The former Lioness has spoken of the challenge of facing the Edinburgh team for the third time this month but wants the Gers to use the good parts of the two previous wins to get themselves over the line once again.
She continued: “It’s so difficult for both teams. It is just going to be as equally difficult for Hibs as it is for us.
“It was tough last time having the back to back games against them. Obviously we have had a couple of games in between that now.
“They do offer certain threats and we know we have got to keep certain people quiet. I think it is important for us that we move on and recognise their threats.
“We have had some good results against them and we have scored some decent goals. That is something that we will be looking to continue to do.
“We have got to make sure that we put our gameplan into practice to be able to do that.”
Potter wants her team to go on a run once again as they look for a positive end to the season with what remains of the campaign.
She added: “We said previously you have to be near on perfect now.
“The split comes and it is so competitive. It becomes one of the most difficult leagues to play in when post-split.
“You can feel it, because there is not much wiggle room, there is not many goals in the games so you know those big moments become big.
“Big blocks, saves, goals in big moments, that will be the difference now. We have got to make sure that we are concentrated all the time and making sure that we really putting things into practice and really giving it a good go.
“I think when you see us and how we play, when we are confident you can tell. We have got to make sure we are taking that forward and really putting it to other teams.”
