The pair have continued to highlight the strength of the academy system at the club, with both featuring on several occasions for Jo Potter’s side throughout the campaign having signed first professional deals in recent seasons.
McLeary signed her first pro contract in the summer of 2022 having been part of the Light Blues title winning side in the 2021/22 season before she also agreed her first professional terms just months later.
Featuring in the team throughout the following season she was also part of the squad that lifted their first ever Sky Sports Cup in December 2022 where they ran out 2-0 winners over Hibs in the final, whilst also playing her part in retaining the trophy this season.
Austin signed her first pro terms with the club last summer and has featured for the Gers on 15 occasions this campaign scoring three times, including a start in the final Old Firm of the SWPL campaign.
The 19-year-old has also represented her country at several youth levels, playing at both U17s and U19s. Versatile across the backline, the youngster will hope to continue developing in the Rangers ranks as she will now be part of Jo Potter’s squad for the next two seasons ahead.
Speaking after signing the extension, McLeary said: “I’m delighted to extend my stay as it is a club I have loved my whole life.
“For Jo to have faith in me to offer me a two-year deal is something I and my family are proud of and I can’t wait to continue my journey here.
“When someone like Jo says they believe in you it gives you a lot of confidence.
“She has helped me massively; she gave me a chance and hopefully over the next few seasons I can help the team enjoy more success.”
After putting pen to paper on a new deal, Austin also said: “It means the world to me to sign a new contract.
“I have learned so much this season under Jo and all the staff. The team have been great to me and they have really helped me settle in with the first-team.
“They have really helped me and made me a better player and I hope that continues next season.
“All the girls have been great at passing on advice and I am really excited to continue my journey with Rangers.”
Women’s head coach Jo Potter commented: “At any football club you have to invest in the future and Eilidh and Jodi are certainly a big part of that.
“They both contributed significantly to our success despite their tender years.
“We believe they have a bright future in the game and we are pleased they see the next part of their career with Rangers.
“If they continue to develop I can only see them becoming a bigger part of the squad next term.”

“We are delighted to have them commit themselves to the club where we believe they will continue to grow and develop.”
