The Light Blues started in promising fashion and lead through Katie Wilkinson’s goal but were unable to add to the advantage throughout as they managed to remain defensively strong to take home the victory against Motherwell.
Speaking to RangersTV after the match, the youngster said: “We have not had a clean sheet in a while so it is something that we have been hammering home in training, to stop conceding silly goals.
“Last year we lost the league on goal difference and we don't want to feel like that again so I think tonight getting back on the clean sheet streak is important and obviously onto Sunday.
“Three points important? It is really important obviously on a night like tonight as well with the pitch and the weather conditions it wasn't easy.
“Playing Motherwell it is always a difficult game but coming here we have confidence in ourselves, we have worked hard all week off the back of a good result on Sunday.
“Coming here three points is what we wanted and we are walking away with three points so it is good.”
“We did start really well I think it is probably the best we have started in a while.
“We kind of drifted away towards the end of the first half but I think the message was just to keep our quality.
“The second half we kind of dropped but I think it is important when you are not at our best that your still grinding out results and we have managed to do that.”
Rangers now turn their focus to the final installment of their three-game week when they take on Glasgow City on Sunday lunchtime, and the 19-year-old says the team will be ready for their next challenge in four days time.
She added: “It is massive, these are the games when you are playing the teams closer to you where the three points it is always a tough game when you play them.
“Going to Petershill it will be difficult but one that we are ready for.”
