The midfielder, who is a product of the Gers’ youth academy, will continue her stay in Glasgow and commit her future to Leanne Crichton’s side.
Having come through the system at the Light Blues, she was part of the title winning side in 2021/22 season before she agreed her first professional contract just months later.
Featuring in the team throughout the following season she was also part of the squad that lifted their first Sky Sports Cup in December 2022 where they ran out 2-0 winners over Hibs in the final.
Another regular appearance maker in 2023/24, McLeary adapted to playing in various roles including the number 10 position, as she too helped the side to both Sky Sports and Scottish Cup wins whilst also featuring for Scotland’s Under-23 side for the first time in the 23/24 season. Signing a two-year extension as the youth graduate extended her career in Glasgow until 2026.
During the 24/25 season, the youngster showed her versatility and was again a regular feature for the Light Blues throughout. Performing in various roles for the side she racked up a further 33 matches in Light Blues as she reached the 100 appearance milestone at just 19 years of age in the Scottish Cup semi-final win over Aberdeen.
McLeary was part of the side that claimed back-to-back cup doubles as she added to her CV of trophies for the Gers.
On the international stage, having previously represented Scotland at various youth levels, including captaining the Under-23s side on occasion, she was rewarded for her fine form this season with a first ever call-up to the senior squad.
During the current campaign, McLeary has become a real mainstay in the Rangers side, featuring the most throughout her career to date racking up 34 appearances in all competitions so far, scoring twice, including a goal of the season contender in the recent league win against Partick Thistle.
Speaking after signing a new contract, McLeary said: “I am obviously delighted, it is the club that I have spent my whole life at and to sign on again it is a real dream.

“She has shown tremendous versatility throughout the campaign, alongside a maturity and consistency that go far beyond her years.

“She has a deep connection to this football club, and I am delighted she has chosen to continue the next stage of her journey here. I have no doubt Jodi will remain a hugely important part of the future of this team for many years to come.”
