The 27-year-old has made over 30 appearances in royal blue this season already, which is more than double the number of times he took to the pitch in an injury-hit campaign last time out.
Speaking to the media ahead of the Gers' trip to face Ross County at Sunday lunchtime, Souttar said: "Everyone knows last season was far from ideal for me; it wasn't what I dreamed of when I signed here.
"This season, so far, I've made up for lost time in the games that I've played and minutes that I've had on the pitch.
"When I look back in the summer, hopefully it's a great ending and we'll be doing everything in the dressing room to make sure it's one to remember for the rest of our lives.
"My full focus is on Rangers. It's massive for us with six or seven weeks being left, and everyone knows what's at stake.
"For me, my full focus is on every game. I know it's cliched, but it's so important that we go into every game with full concentration, belief in what we've been doing, and we stick to what got us into this position.
"I'll perhaps look back when I'm older and think, yeah, that was a big spell in my career.
"Just now, I'm focussing game-by-game, and doing everything I can for this club."
The Light Blues were hit with their second successive postponement at Dens Park on Wednesday.
However, Souttar insists the dressing room is not dwelling on the uncertainty surrounding the fixture and has credited manager Philippe Clement for maintaining the side’s focus ahead of this weekend.
He added: "We prepared normally for the Dundee game, and if it was cancelled then so be it, but there's nothing we can do as players; we just had to prepare properly and we'll do the same for next weekend.
"It hasn't been difficult. The gaffer takes all the pressure on himself and he says to us 'concentrate on the games and I'll deal with everything on the outside'. And that's what happens.
"You just want to play as many games as possible and stay in a rhythm, so everyone is looking forward.
"Obviously with yesterday's game being postponed, we had a hard session today and we're all looking forward to the game on Sunday."
