But while the classy Finnish midfielder was delighted to play his part in the impressive Group D win at Ibrox, he insists his focus has quickly moved on to Sunday as the Light Blues get ready to face Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.
With three Premiership points up for grabs, Kamara knows only too well how important this weekend's fixture is and how hard Rangers will have to work if they are to increase their remarkable unbeaten run in 2020/21 to 18 games in Ayrshire.
Speaking at this morning's pre-match press conference at the club's training centre, Glen said: "For the last two years we've been playing Europa League so we've been playing Thursday-Sunday, Thursday-Sunday and I guess we are used to it.
"We're all just focused for the game on Sunday now and we want to go there and get a win.
Gerrard has great competition for the midfield places in his team at present, with recent signing Bongani Zungu adding to the manager's options for that particular area of the pitch.
Kamara believes this can only be a good thing with players battling to get into the starting eleven.
He continued: "There is a lot of competition and there is a lot of fight for places, so we all have to perform and do well.
"Right now I feel good, I feel confident and I feel like I'm playing decent. Long may it continue and hopefully I can just carry on doing well and I can help the team out."
