The 28-year-old led the Gers to a 2-0 victory over Hibernian at Tynecastle this afternoon as they picked up the trophy for the first time in the club’s history.
Speaking to RangersTV at full-time, she said: “It is an amazing feeling, I think we showed from the start we wanted to win it today and our focus all week has been on making sure we get the win and the girls were brilliant.
“Growing up as a Rangers fan, those are the moments you dream of.
"I have watched people like Barry Ferguson lift loads of trophies and when I was a young girl there were points where I didn’t think that was possible in the women's game but it is the best feeling I have had in football to date.”
Looking back on the 90 minutes, Hill believes it was a squad effort as goals from Lizzie Arnot and second-half substitute Kirsty Howat sealed the victory.
She continued: “I thought Hibs had their spells and we had our spells. I thought when we moved the ball we were in control but obviously it was a great goal from Lizzie and a brilliant finish but then when Kirsty came on she really settled that for us to see out the last 10 minutes which was good.
“There will be girls who were disappointed when the team got announced but all the subs know they can come on and make an impact and she definitely did that.
“We are going to enjoy this occasion but that feeling at the end of the game when you know you have won is amazing and we want more of that this year so we have got to use that.”
