The Light Blues will be on the famous turf for the first time this season as they look to continue their positive start to the SWPL campaign, which has seen them remain unbeaten with eight wins and a draw from their opening nine matches scoring an impressive 55 goals in the process.
Speaking to RangersTV looking ahead to the game, the defender commented: “The backing they give us week to week is amazing. I don't think they realise how much it helps us.
“Even on Thursday night against Celtic we had such a good crowd considering the men were also playing.
“It is a big game; Glasgow City are doing well in the league and we want to win here.
“We want to do well here because it is our stadium so having fans to kind of back us and push all the way would be great.
“There is no men's game on so it is three o'clock on a Saturday, that is what people want.
“We would really appreciate the support; we like to think we play good entertaining football.
“We have scored a lot of goals this season so hopefully we can help entertain the fans.
“If people haven't been to a women's game before then it is the perfect opportunity just to come and see what we are all about.”
The 30-year-old, who has been a regular feature in the Gers backline this campaign, has challenged the team to raise their game in front of the home faithful, as they prepare for another intriguing SWPL test.
She continued: “It has been a kind of tough run of games recently and this one is no different on Saturday.
“Glasgow City have had a good start to the season, I think they have only lost one game so we know they are going to be a difficult game.
“It is a big pitch, which should suit us and it will just be interesting to see how the game goes in terms of how they want to play.
“The girls know that, we know what to expect and hopefully we can bring that on Saturday.”
The centre-back has spoken of what it means to step out on the pitch at the home stadium having supported the club her whole life, as she prepares to do so for the fourth time for Jo Potter’s side this Saturday afternoon.
She added: “I think I have played three times at Ibrox and on Saturday when we come back every time you just feel so lucky to do it.
“Because you know like in a league game there are 50,000 people who would love to do that.
“It is just good to take in those moments and enjoy the occasion as well.”
