The defender got on the scoresheet in the first half sandwiched between two own goals as the Gers took a three goal advantage into the half time interval.
A Kirsty Howat finish followed by a Rio Hardy spot kick as well as a fantastic Nicola Docherty strike wrapped up an impressive days work for the Gers as they kept up their good form of late.
Speaking to RangersTV after the win the centre back was happy with getting on the scoresheet on the day as well as helping contribute to back-to-back clean sheets in the league.
She said: “We are really pleased; I think we want to keep building on previous performances and previously weeks and getting the six goals is good and then obviously a clean sheet at the other end so really pleased with that.
“It is nice to score personally, but every week we want a clean sheet that is the main thing for us, so just delighted with that.”
The 29-year-old says it is a really enjoyable side to be part of at the moment as the Gers made it 34 goals in their last five outings in all competitions.
She continued: “It is something we talk about all the time. We have a lot of the ball in a lot of the games but it is the end goal that matters, so we are trying to make sure that we are putting more away and I think the girls up top are doing brilliantly with that. It is good to play in, getting a lot of the ball at the back as well so it is enjoyable.”
“There was lots of control today. I thought we moved the ball, after Jo spoke to us at half time and trying to do what she told us to work on. Disappointing probably not to score more but I think we had a great game as well today, six goals and a clean sheet so we are pleased.”
Hill says the team are looking forward to getting back to Ibrox as the Light Blues will step out onto the pitch to take on Hibs next weekend, with the game being the first for the side at the stadium since last season’s league decider on the final day.
She added: “Looking forward to getting back to Ibrox. Hopefully we will get a win this time and it will be a more enjoyable occasion. Hopefully we can get a good crowd as well and build on today’s performance leading into the next couple of weeks before the next international break.”
