The forward broke the deadlock in the first half for Jo Potter's side before a blistering second half showing capped off a final display that will live long in the memory.
Speaking to RangersTV after the triumph, a delighted Wilkinson beamed: "It's an unbelievable feeling - when you look up at that scoreboard, 89 minutes gone, and it's 5-0.
"[Hibs] are such a good team. We knew they were a good team and that it was going to be a tough game, but the scoreline shows how good that we were.
"From minute one we knew what we had to do. I think every single player who stepped onto the pitch gave absolutely everything. What an achievement.
"The fans expect to win trophies and we need to deliver. That's exactly that we've done today."
Wilkinson's first half goal was reward for her persistence after Hibs defender Linzi Taylor was able to block her effort from close range.
Indeed, her goal crowned an incredible run in the competition where she has netted in every round.
The forward, however, was at pains to stress the effort from her teammates and their commanding second half showing.
She added: "My goal? I don't remember it too well!
"It sort of bounced around a little bit, but to score that first and get the ball rolling was good for us.
"We know we play better when we're ahead and not try to put too much pressure on ourselves when we're not ahead.
"The second half was massive for us. 1-0 is a dangerous scoreline and we knew we had to get the next goal.
"And even after that, we knew we had to get the next one. That was our mentality, and I think we showed that.
"It's a massive result for us today. We've played Hibs twice already and not managed to get the win, but we showed up today."
