KIRSTY HOWAT has been rewarded for her early season form with a first ever call-up to the Scotland national squad.
The striker, who has represented her country at youth level has started the new campaign in impressive fashion, scoring 10 goals as well as providing nine assists in 10 appearances so far.
The 26-year-old will now join up with the senior squad for the first time as they take on Belgium in the Nations League at Hampden Stadium tomorrow evening.
Joining up with fellow Rangers teammates Jenna Fife, Rachel McLauchlan, Nicola Docherty and Kirsty Maclean in the squad.
