The Light Blues will take on Hibs in the Sky Sports Cup final with the first silverware of the season up for grabs and a chance to win the competition for the third season running.
Speaking to the official Rangers website to look ahead to Saturday’s showpiece fixture, she commented: “Could cup final experience be the difference? Yes it could be, as a group we have got loads of experienced players within it.
“It is our cup; we want to keep it and we managed to win two trophies last season in the cups.
“Hibs? They have had a great season; they are a really hard team to come up against.
“They have kind of quietly gone about their business but they are doing really well and are a big threat but we need to know how to handle them.
“Playing in big occasions? That is what you want, it comes with pressure but being a Rangers player that is always going to come with pressure and you just need to take it and put it in a good way.”
Having missed out on the opportunity to run out at Tynecastle in last year’s final success due to injury, the midfielder is relishing the chance to be involved as the Light Blues look to put down a marker for the remainder of the campaign.
She continued: “I was gutted, obviously to play in the semi-final against Celtic and then not manage to play in the final was hard but the girls done great and they had a great performance that day so it was still a good day.
“It is definitely hard watching from the sidelines.
“You are obviously really happy for them as a team but you want to be in on the action yourself so I am really happy that I can do that this season.”
The Scotland international feels yesterday’s 8-0 league success over Motherwell was the perfect display heading into the final, as they look to overcome the league leaders and secure a third trophy under head coach Jo Potter.
She added: “I think we needed that as a group to get the confidence up.
“Obviously the last couple of games we have not quite been at it but to go from the start yesterday and get all three points and lot of goals with different goalscorers we really needed that going into next week.
“We sort of go in as the underdogs going into this game against Hibs, we have not managed to beat them yet this season but we have obviously got a big week coming up and a lot of hard work to be doing in training.
“It is so important that is not just one striker scoring the goals but it is spread throughout the team.
“I thought all the players had a great game yesterday and several managed to get on the scoresheet as well.”
