The youngster, who was named in the starting lineup for the first time this season, enjoyed an impressive afternoon throughout as she shared the match ball alongside Katie Wilkinson as they pair claimed six of the 10 goals.
Speaking to RangersTV after the 10-0 away win over Dundee United, she said: “I am really delighted, my first start and I just wanted to come in and try get on the scoresheet and I did that so I am very happy.
“As a striker you always want to be scoring, to score a hat-trick it is just the best feeling so I am really happy.”
The 17-year-old spoke of playing alongside the former Southampton forward and says she is constantly learning from her teammates at the start of this new season having rejoined the squad for pre-season.
She continued: “She [Wilkinson] is great to work alongside and I can learn so much from her.
“She is such an experienced striker and you can see how many goals she is scoring so hopefully I can learn loads off her.
“I think the first few weeks of the season I have really learned a lot and developed and I am more confident now and able to show what I can do.”
The Scotland youth international highlighted the fast start the side made and performance overall having hit the back of the net almost straight away as she looked ahead to the mouthwatering tie to come against Arsenal in midweek.
She added: ”I think it was due to the quick start that we had in the first half.
“The whole first half everyone in the team was excellent and tried to continue that onto the second, it was a bit harder but we still got some goals in.
“Everyone is really excited; I think it will be a great experience.
“We are going to go down and do our best and try get the result that we want.”
