The striker, who spent the first half of the season on loan at Motherwell before being recalled by her parent club last month, was back in blue for the first time as she rounded off the scoring in the team’s 10-0 SWPL win over Aberdeen this afternoon.
Speaking to RangersTV to reflect on the moment, she commented: “I am really happy with my performance and to be back I am buzzing and to get on the scoresheet is an even better feeling so I am pleased.
“It was all quite fast, I was enjoying my time at Motherwell.
“It was good, I was playing but when Jo contacted me and asked if I wanted to come back full-time I was never going to say no so I am delighted to be back.”
The youngster is hopeful of taking the experience of her temporary spell into the second half of the campaign, as she looks to compete for a regular starting spot at the club in the coming months.
She continued: “Taking my time at Motherwell into my career here? Yes definitely, I think it was exactly what I needed at that time.
“I got the game time that I needed, it grew me in confidence.
“The coaches and all the girls I can't thank enough for welcoming me so I am really happy.
“There are so many top strikers at the club and to be competing with them in training and learning so much from them in training is going to enhance my development.
“I am excited to keep doing that for the rest of the season and hopefully try and compete with them for their place.
“I am really excited, there are some big games coming up and hopefully I can play my part and help the team.
“That is where I want to be at Rangers so I am happy.”
The 17-year-old spoke of the performance overall in what was a ruthless showing from the Gers in their first home league outing of 2025, highlighting the quick start the team made to set them on their way.
She added: “I think it was a good team performance.
“Everyone played their part and we worked on things during training and we took them into the game so I think that was the perfect performance just about.
“Jo mentioned getting a quick start in the game today and that is exactly what we did.
“We need to keep that going moving forward in the next few games and keep trying to get as many goals as we can.”
