The young Scots have only competed once at the Euros back in 2019 when they were the host nation, but with momentum and following a positive run of results, Gary Doctor’s players will have high hopes ahead of their Round 2 qualifiers beginning tomorrow.
Speaking prior to the three games, which will all be played at the Kirkintilloch Sports Complex, Berry said: “We have got the qualifiers, and we have a really good chance of going to the Euros.
“We are all excited, we have got a good team, and hopefully we can go out and do it, as it would be a great achievement.
“It is enjoyable, and we have been doing well, scoring goals and playing against some really good teams.
“It is all about learning, but we have got a really good chance of going to the finals, and hopefully we can do that.”
Scotland warmed up for their crucial outings coming up with a pair of friendly matches against Belgium earlier this year, enjoying a victory in the second.
Berry says the team will be prepared for the tests provided by Austria, North Macedonia and Norway on Friday afternoon and then on April 13 and April 16, respectively.
She continued: “We played Norway in the last round of the qualifiers and drew. It was a really tough game, and both teams had chances to win it.
“That is our last game of the three this month, so hopefully, fingers crossed, it can be the game that sends us to the Euros.
“We will need to go out and put in good performances. I don't know much about Austria, but the England girls at Rangers have played them, May Cruft and Jess Pegram. I asked them, and they said they were a decent team and hard to break down.
“Playing on astroturf, all the girls in our league are used to playing on it, and the countries we are facing maybe aren't as much.
“To get to the Euros would be massive. We are all looking forward to the games coming up, and we are really hopeful we can go out and do well and get to those finals.”
Berry, who is enjoying a real breakthrough campaign at club level with Rangers and has worn the captain’s armband at international level, has ambitions of representing the senior squad one day, but for now she is keeping her feet firmly on the ground.
She added: “Everyone wants to play for the A squad. Hopefully, I can keep my performances up and keep doing well, and that comes at some point in the future.
“It is really good being captain. It is an honour just to play for Scotland, but to be captain just adds that little bit more responsibility.”
