The Light Blues are back on the pitch following the international break in a top-of-the-table clash at Broadwood, with just a point separating the two sides at the summit.
Speaking to RangersTV as the season reaches its final month in a crucial run of outings ahead, she commented: “It is a huge one and that is now off the back of the last two international breaks that Hearts are the first side that we face, we have yet to beat them this season, that is something that we are striving for.
“They have been really close encounters, tough games, a draw in the first game, obviously at Ibrox and then subsequently 3-2 defeats in the other two.
“We look at those games, we have spent a lot of time, we've reflected on it and looked at where we are now and how we have regrouped and improved since those games, because it always has been a moving part for us.
“I look at the group and how they have relished it the whole season and being underdogs at points as well, within that, because of places that we have been and how reduced we were in terms of the numbers at the start and how we've had to regalvanise and rejuvenate the squad at various different points.
“Coupled with injuries and setbacks and those various moments along the way.
“The fact that we are here now and we have got these opportunities, starting off at home against Hearts, it will be a brilliant occasion for us.
“A difficult kick off time, which we know, and there has obviously been a lot around that, but it's great that the game is being televised on Sky Sports.
The Head Coach says the team are in a good place as they reach the final stretch of games of her first season in charge, feeling that they have shown they can perform in big games to try come out on top against the Edinburgh side in their fourth meeting of the campaign.
She continued: “It is wonderful, it really is. For such an up and down season, but that is only because we are our own worst critics and we have been the whole season, but I think it has put us in a good place.
“If I have been honest, I think we have always been striving for more, we'll have all wanted more, we've never expected less, even in the moments of adversity and the tough runs that we have been on.
“I think certainly when we got to the midway point and in the split, we have actually given a really good account of ourselves.
“There are moments that we can still improve on, which is natural for any group. We find ourselves in a really good place now, and we feel that we can really kick on. We have got these five league games, we will have the cup semi-final against Montrose, and it is very much about us and what we can do now which is great.
“That is all you would ever want heading into the business end of the season, is that you have an element of control over those games and what that looks like, and we feel like we've got that.
“It will be a challenge that we have not had a game since the Old Firm, and we will have had the small preparation time that this international window has given us, in that the games moved from a weekend fixture to the Friday obviously condenses that preparation time a little bit more as well.
“That is now where the pressure lies for myself, staff, and the players to go and pick up where they left off.
“It will be a different type of game and a different challenge. We know they are different teams, but it is one that we'll look to embrace; there are no guarantees in these games either.
“It doesn't matter, and I do think form to a point goes out the window when it comes down to effectively five cup finals for all the teams that are involved.
“A really impressive win and one of our most complete performances of the season, so again we'll look to try and tap into that and get back to that as quickly as we can.”
The former Scotland international provided a positive fresh injury update on her side, with just one squad player sidelined at present, with her optimistic long-term absentee, Sarah Ewens, will be back before the campaign is out.
She added: “We are almost at full strength; Sarah is the one that we are waiting on now.
“It has been such a long haul for her, and I know how difficult the rehabilitation process has been for her with a couple of setbacks along the way.
“Obviously, she has had a few mates along the way that have joined her in the rehab process. It has been very much an in-and-out process throughout the whole season, and that has been part of the reason why we speak about those inconsistencies.
“No excuses with that now, we are almost at full strength, and numbers are excellent.
“Training numbers have been fantastic this week, and the vibes and environment amongst the players.
“We can feel that we are at that business end and we are just ready to get going.”
