It was a dominant performance from the Light Blues as they entertained with an attacking display in Edinburgh.
Speaking to RangersTV at full-time, Lundstram said: “The performance was really pleasing - I thought we were brilliant. For about 10 minutes after half-time they gave a little bit of a push and they came out and tried to put something on us but I think we rode the storm and came out strong.
“The most pleasing thing was the performance level, I thought the front three were threatening all night and it caused them all sorts of problems so it is really pleasing and we have just got to build on it now.
“It is a difficult place to come, we knew they were going to try and put us under pressure early on. They did so in the first game here this year so we wanted to be the aggressors and we did that and we got the breakthrough early on.
“I think if you are on the front foot and you are having most of the ball and the pick of the chances it limits them as well.”
Lundstram hopes Rangers can continue to build on the performance as they prepare to face Ross County at Ibrox on Saturday.
He continued: “We have had brilliant results but sometimes the performance we knew we could've done a little bit better so it is nice to put it all together today and hopefully now we can put in another good performance at Ibrox at the weekend.”
