The Gers found themselves a goal and a man down at the break having dominated the match up until Thompson Ishaka’s dismissal before Lyall dispatched two second half penalties to claim the victory.
Speaking to RangersTV after the match the midfielder was happy with his team’s display in the second 45 minutes as they marked their penultimate league fixture with a win.
He said: “I thought we started off really well and obviously got the goal quite early, then got the man sent off and then we sort of when into a bit of a shell for the rest of the first half.
“Second half we came out and played the way know we can and we ended up getting the two goals the win so I am happy with that.
“It was obviously frustrating going down to 10 men, it just makes the job so much harder, but once we got that out of our system at half time I thought we dealt with the rest of the game very well.”
The 19-year-old says the half time message was to go back to playing the way they are capable of and says he was happy to be the match winner on the day from the penalty spot.
“Graeme Smith was giving me a bit the other day saying I was going to be on them so I happy to get the two goals.
“It was just reassuring us that we when we played well that we are a good team, when we came back out for the second half we started doing that again and got the ball moving again and obviously got the two goals from that so happy with that.
“We always know that we are going to get chances every game, it is just knowing when to take them as well, it was a good second half performance.
The Rangers number 10 wants the side to end their Lowland League campaign on a high as they prepare to face Caledonian Braves in their final outing on Tuesday night.
He added: “Hopefully we can get another three points and finish as high as possible, finish off a strong campaign and get ready to go again Tuesday.”
