The defender was on hand to turn home an impressive left footed strike before two headers saw the defender claim three of the first four goals in a comfortable first half at Broadwood for the Light Blues.
Speaking to RangersTV the defender was happy to claim what was the first match ball of her career and help the side to earn another three points in the SWPL.
She said: “It is my first hat trick, I understand that it is not every day that the centre back scores goals, the players give really good passes so with them I can finish really well.
“We did a great job and it is a great team, it is good to play well today and realise that we did a great job, and we got the result so it is good that we got three points.”
The Gers made the most of set pieces opportunities on the day with four of the goals coming from deliveries from wide areas and the defender was happy their work from the training ground paid off on the day.
She continued: “It is great because we work all week on free kicks, and we scored four goals from set pieces, it was a great team performance today.”
Martinez has hailed the medical staff at the club for helping her make a quick return to the pitch after a spell on the sidelines with injury and says the side must turn their full attention to the games that lie ahead.
She added: “I am really happy, we have a good support from the medical team and they gave me the chance to come back as quickly as I could, so I thank them for that.
“Now we need to be focused on the second half of the season and we need to win every game.”
