A second half goal from Adam Devine saw the winner for the Light Blues as they continue their journey in the Lowland League campaign.
Speaking exclusively to RangersTV after the game, David McCallum underlined his thoughts on the team’s performance, McCallum said: “It was a really tough game. I thought we started well the first half, we were at our fluent best then and we created good situations to get the win.”
The B Team Boss continued to highlight the level of football the squad are going up against and the benefit that brings to the team’s development. He added: “We’re going against good teams, teams that have high ambitions to be in a higher league and they’re built for that.
“We had grit and determination to see that result through, it’s tough but that goes back to why we’re doing this.”
It is a quick turnaround for the B Team squad as they prepare to face Dumbarton on Wednesday night in the Challenge Cup, McCallum continued: “We just need to make sure that we recover properly but everything is now geared towards Wednesday’s match against Dumbarton in the Challenge Cup.”
