It’s a big afternoon in the league campaign as Malky Thomson’s side host City at Broadwood for the 4.10pm kick-off.
Speaking to the press ahead of this match, McLauchlan said: “Against Hearts it was a disappointing result, but they are a very well organised team, I think from that going into Motherwell we knew what we could do better.
“We took that in and we started a lot better last weekend and I think we proved that with the result on Sunday. For us we are just focusing on our game and focusing on ways we can break down teams and we are just hoping to continue that going forward into games coming up.
“I don't think we have got extra pressure on ourselves at the moment. I think we go into every game, we want to win and we want the three points.
“Obviously the Hearts game never worked out like that but there are still a lot of games to play at the moment so we are just focusing on each game and trying to go in there to get the three points and that is exactly what we will try to do on Sunday.”
McLauchlan said the squad have had a good week at training in preparation as they look to carry momentum from last weekend’s 7-0 victory over Motherwell.
He continued: “We have done the same in training and hopefully we can carry that on Sunday. I love playing behind Brogan [Hay], she makes my job very easy. She played very well on Sunday and got a goal she really deserved.”
With Tessel Middag passing up the chance of a hat-trick to set-up Kirsty Howat for a goal last weekend, McLauchlan said it is just one example of the spirit within the squad.
She added: “We all said that to Tess after the game and I think Kirsty was very thankful for it as well, it has been shown before that we are a very close team and we all look out for each other.
“That is just one of the examples that has happened throughout the game. Tess deserves a lot of praise for doing that and getting Kirsty's confidence up that she can probably use going forward into future games.”
