The youngster agreed pro terms with the club back in July 2023 before a breakthrough few months in the side was to follow as she was rewarded for her form with a new deal.
The campaign has seen the 17-year-old play a crucial part in the side’s successes, scoring the opening goal in the Sky Sports Cup final back in March before playing her part in the Hampden victory on Sunday.
Speaking to RangersTV after claiming the Scottish Cup for the first time in the club’s history with a 2-0 win over Hearts at the National Stadium, she said: “I am delighted, my first year in a professional contract and we have got the two cups, it is an amazing feeling.
“You can't get much better, we were so close to getting the league as well but a double in my first year, it is amazing.
“It is another bit of history, this is what this club is about is winning trophies, we have done that again today.
“I think it shows the character that we have in the dressing room.
“We went out last week and got so close to the league and we have missed it, me and all the girls were raring to go for this.”
The academy graduate broke through the club’s youth system with several of her teammates as she spoke of what it meant to lift further silverware with those she has been on that journey with, whilst heaping praise on her boss for the opportunities she has had throughout.
She continued: “It is really good; I think it also shows what the pathway is.
“You look at all the younger girls in the team and it shows all the young girls in the academy that there is a pathway to come up through the academy.
“She [Jo] has been really good, she has given me the chance that I really needed.
“I think as a young player you really need that connection with your manager and Jo has come in and really gave me her trust.”
The wide player, who will be joining up with the Scotland Under-23s squad for the first time this week, says there are exciting times ahead in the coming season, as she thanked fans for their continued support during the campaign.
She added: “There is so much to look forward too. We have got Champions League, a chance to hopefully get a treble.
“We will go through our summer break and we will be raring to go for the next season.
“We hear them week in week out so I think we have got a lot to thank them for.”
