The young Gers are back in Lowland League action at the weekend as they play Gary Jardine’s side at the Edinburgh Area Civil Service Sports Association.
Speaking exclusively to RangersTV ahead of the match, the youngster said: “I think it will be a tough game like all away matches are. We’ll need to try and get used to different surfaces and surroundings around us. It will be tough, but it should be good.
“We can learn from every game, the last time we played them was close to the start of the season, so we were starting to get into our stride. I feel like we have improved even though some results may not show it.”
Miller followed up by outlining the squad’s preparations ahead of the fixture and the benefit the variety of games has been to their learning.
He added: “It’s just always about recovering for the next game and learning every day once you’re in, a game off is just like another training day to improve for the next game once it comes ahead.
“You have to prepare in different ways for the different challenges that come ahead, the UEFA Youth League is ‘best v best’ in a similar age group and you’re preparing for a very technical game. The Lowland League games are also technical but you’re playing against older players so you will prepare for something a bit more physical and try to get your mentality right to prepare for whatever comes ahead.”
