The young Ger was pleased to get the win today and insisted that it was important to bounce back following Tuesday night’s defeat against Cove Rangers.
Speaking exclusively to RangersTV, he said “It was a good performance and obviously a good result from the boys to bounce back from a disappointing result during the week.
“The most important thing for a good team is sometimes you will have disappointing results but it's what you do in the next game and how you resurrect the disappointments of the game before - we showed that today and I thought we put out a really good performance.
“We have got so many games this season so we will need the full squad to be involved. When you know people can come off the bench and score important goals like that - it's an important thing to have.”
The youngster looked head to their upcoming second leg fixture against Septemvri Sofia in the UEFA Youth League on Tuesday evening at Dumbarton and expressed his excitement to play in front of the home support.
He added: “It will be really good and obviously in front of the home fans this time and taking a positive result from being over there makes it better, but the job still isn’t done. We need to come here on Tuesday night and give everything we have got to get a performance, get a result, and move on to the next round.
“It is just a momentum thing and the confidence thing - when you come off a good result it is going to boost everyone's confidence going into the game and it's going to have a positive effect on us.
“It is always good to have the fans watching and try to put a performance on for them so hopefully we put in a good performance and get a good result for the fans on Tuesday night.”
