The supporter collaboration session took place on 3 June 2026 and focused on key areas identified through the working group, including European away ticketing, domestic away ticketing, member communications and the future development of the programme. This provided the club with a broad range of views to consider before confirming the changes for the new season.
The changes follow a season-long engagement process, which also included more than 2,750 survey responses from current and lapsed MyGers members, dialogue with the Fan Advisory Board, five meetings of the MyGers engagement working group and feedback from supporters who registered for the supporter collaboration session but were not allocated a place.
What supporters told us
A number of consistent themes emerged across the various feedback channels.
European away ticket collections - While acknowledging that ticket collections are not always convenient for those travelling, supporters broadly backed the continued use of them for European away matches and recognised their role in ensuring tickets are collected by the supporters to whom they were allocated.
European away ticket sanctions - There was also strong support for the introduction of sanctions where supporters purchase tickets but do not collect them when collection is required. Together, ticket collections and sanctions are intended to help ensure tickets reach supporters who are genuinely travelling and support fairer access for members who are currently missing out.
Domestic away ticket access - On domestic away ticketing, supporters supported retaining loyalty as a key principle, while also recognising the importance of maintaining opportunities for supporters across different membership tiers.
Domestic away match categories - Feedback also indicated that domestic away match categories should more closely reflect the number of tickets available, recognising that lower-allocation fixtures are often more difficult to access due to the level of demand compared with supply.
Transparency - A recurring theme throughout the engagement process was the desire for greater transparency and clearer communication around MyGers, including how points are earned, how ballots operate and how ticket allocations are distributed.
Changes for season 2026/27
Following consideration of supporter feedback, the club will progress the following changes for season 2026/27.
European away ticket sanctions
A new European away ticket sanctions policy will be introduced from season 2026/27 for European away fixtures in UEFA competitions.
Where a supporter purchases a European away ticket but does not collect it where collection is required, sanctions will apply.
For a first offence, the supporter will be ineligible to register for the next European away match. A second offence will result in them being ineligible to register for the next three European away matches. Sanctions will roll over into the following season(s) where applicable.
This change is designed to support fairness, protect the integrity of the ticketing process, reward supporters who genuinely travel and help the club plan more accurately for European away fixtures.

Parkhead ticket access
For Parkhead fixtures, a limited number of tickets from the MyGers allocation will be made available to silver and bronze members.
Gold members will continue to receive the majority of MyGers tickets for these fixtures. However, allocating a portion of the MyGers allocation to silver and bronze members will create an opportunity for a wider range of members to access one of the most in-demand away fixtures, while continuing to reward those in the gold tier with the highest chance of success in the ballot.
Domestic away match categories
Domestic away fixtures will move from three categories (A, B and C) to two categories (A and B).
From season 2026/27, categories will be based on allocation size, rather than the historic profile of the fixture:
Category A: total club allocation below 2,500 tickets. Based on last season’s allocations, this would include Aberdeen, Celtic, Falkirk, Hearts, Hibernian, and St Mirren.
Category B: total club allocation of 2,500 tickets or more. Based on last season’s allocations, this would include Dundee, Dundee United, Kilmarnock, Motherwell, and St Johnstone.
Allocations can vary during the season. This means a fixture may be classed as Category A on one occasion and Category B the next time the clubs meet, depending on the final allocation received.
Each category will operate its own rotation.
This change is being introduced in response to supporter feedback that domestic away match categories should be determined by allocation size. It also supports the introduction of Parkhead access across all MyGers tiers and is intended to reduce anomalies in the number of tickets allocated to members, where the previous three-category structure and rotations were a contributing factor.
Communication and transparency
The club recognises that supporters want clearer and more regular information about MyGers.
For season 2026/27, we will continue to improve communication around:
how MyGers points are earned;
how ballots and rotations operate;
how ticket allocations are distributed;
key ticketing timelines;
changes to MyGers processes and policies;
progress made by the MyGers Engagement Working Group.
Looking back at season 2025/26
The club recognises the importance of providing clear information on how tickets are distributed to supporters.
During the 2025/26 season, the club’s total allocation across all domestic away matches was 49,270 tickets. Of those, 27,781 were allocated through MyGers, representing 56.4% of all domestic away tickets.
A total of 19,332 members registered for at least one domestic away match, with 236,219 registrations received across all domestic away fixtures.
Across seven European away fixtures, the club’s total allocation was 11,152 tickets. Of those, 8,340 were allocated through MyGers, representing 74.8% of the total European away allocation.
The average number of registrations per European away match was 3,999. Across the season, 741 European away tickets were left uncollected - almost 9% of all European away tickets allocated through MyGers.
These figures underline the significant demand for away tickets and the importance of maintaining a fair, transparent allocation process that recognises the exceptional loyalty shown by Rangers supporters.
Next steps
The club will continue to use supporter feedback to inform the future development of MyGers, including loyalty recognition, ticket access, member value, digital integration, younger supporter engagement, and wider programme benefits.
The MyGers engagement working group will reconvene in the coming months, with its focus shifting from short-term changes to a longer-term plan for what membership will look like for the club and its supporters.
We would like to thank all supporters who took part in the supporter collaboration session, the MyGers engagement working group and wider engagement activity throughout the season.
