New Zealand International Victoria Esson Signs New Contract

RANGERS Football Club are delighted to announce that goalkeeper Victoria Esson has signed a contract extension with the club.

The 32-year-old joined Rangers last summer and made 21 appearances in all competitions. She was also part of the Gers side that won the club’s first ever Sky Sports Cup back in December and will now be part of head coach Jo Potter’s plans for the upcoming season.

The shot stopper is currently representing her country at the FIFA Women’s World Cup this summer with New Zealand and is the latest player to commit her future to the club ahead of the 2023/24 season.

Victoria started the side’s first group stage match earlier today keeping a clean sheet in the process as they claimed their first ever victory in the competition with a 1-0 win over Norway.

The club wish her well for the remainder of the tournament and look forward to her rejoining the squad for the new season.
