The former Arsenal striker will line up in a star-studded World Legends side as they take on a Rangers Legends team this Sunday afternoon, kicking off at 2:00pm.
Speaking to RangersTV prior to the fixture, the former striker is expecting a competitive game between the two sides in front of a buoyant Ibrox crowd: “I am happy that I am one of the players that is going to be there, what a great place to be, and what a great game it’s going to be. I have heard a lot about it, the stadium and the people. It is going to be nice to be there.
The Nigerian is expecting a closely fought encounter as both teams set out their stalls to win, with a star-studded line up set to be on show in Govan.
He continued: “Every game is very important, all the players want to win, so it is going to be a strong and tough match, but all the same we are going to enjoy ourselves and make sure that we get something out of it.
“Football is football, you just go there and enjoy yourself, but all the same you have to be in a good shape to play. I believe on Sunday that all of us are going to be in the shape that we can find ourselves fit to play and we will give our best.”
