The 19-year-old has settled into life in Glasgow well starting the last four matches having made the temporary switch from Aston Villa until the end of the season during the January transfer window.
Speaking to the official club website ahead of their crucial Old Firm clash in the SWPL this Sunday afternoon, the midfielder is looking forward to the potential opportunity of experiencing playing on the famous old turf for the first time.
She commented: “I am really excited, this is the game that everyone talks about and to do it at Ibrox is just amazing, for that to be my first game here it would be really good.
“It is really good, a really iconic stadium, obviously it has got a lot of history, I am really excited to play here.”
The Gers number 24 spoke of life playing with the side having made her debut in the win at Aberdeen on January 28 and also netting her first goal for the club in the Scottish Cup the following weekend.
Stating she wants to keep building up her minutes as she targets regular football in the second half of the season.
She continued: “All the girls were saying welcome to Scotland. I enjoyed it, it was hard it was a bit of a rough game to go into but we got three points so that is all that matters really.
"I haven't had that in ages to be honest. That was really nice and obviously starting to work with the team is really important and building those relationships in midfield especially which I enjoyed.
“I am really enjoying it. All the girls are really nice, the environment is really good so I am really excited to carry on.”
McLoughlin shared some of her experiences of playing in stadiums during her time with her parent club in the Women’s Super League and is hopeful those opportunities will help her this weekend and moving forward as she spoke of what she hopes to achieve during her time in Glasgow.
She added: “I have played in a few, played at Old Trafford, the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Villa Park, but I am really excited to play at Ibrox.
“Hopefully they will help me, but this is going to be a bigger game than I have ever played in before, but I am really excited.
“One of the reasons to come is to hopefully win the title, win the treble, that started in my first game for me and this is a big game for me to try carry on that.”
