The midfielder made her fifth start in a row for the Light Blues in the contest with the match ending 1-1 in the third meeting between the two teams this season.
Speaking to RangersTV after the game the 19-year-old spoke of what it was like walking out onto the famous old turf on a day she was named player of the match.
She commented: “It was amazing. When I came out of the tunnel to start the game it was crazy.
“I got a bit nervous but it was amazing, the fans were so good and the atmosphere really helped us.
“We're slightly disappointed with the draw but I think we gave it our all in the game.
“I think we switched off for one moment and that is what cost us the win really but I felt like we dominated the ball.
“We are really happy with our performance; it is just that slight few minutes after the first half that let us down a little bit.”
The Aston Villa loanee praised the side for their fast start to the match as they created several opportunities but felt slightly frustrated the team weren’t able to make the most of their early openings.
She continued: “I felt like we started really well, which is something we tried to focus on.
“In the last couple of games, we struggled with starting fast, so that was a really good positive.
“We were a little bit disappointed to not come in at 1-0 at half-time but we felt like we had good possession and it was going to come at some point.”
Jo Potter’s side did find a response on the day which maintained their unbeaten run heading into the international break and McLoughlin praised the impact the substitutes had in helping them change the game.
She added: “How were the impact of the subs and you must have thought you had won it at the end? Things like that happen though.
“Jenna then made an amazing save as well so on one day we’d take that and we’d score it and on another day it just happens, but we did really well to create the chances and obviously the subs coming on had a massive impact on the game too.
“That is what got us through it really and the second half we dominated.
“I think the response and especially Mia’s impact on the game, it was brilliant and that just shows what a team and how together we are to respond back from that.
“It is hard to go 1-0 down but I think the fans also gave us that extra edge.”
