The Light Blues are holders of the League Cup and will aim to seal their place in December’s final against Stuart Kettlewell’s side.
Clement’s side will be keen to return to winning ways after a disappointing defeat to Aberdeen at Pittodrie in midweek, and the Belgian boss insists now is the moment to come together as a club.
Speaking to the media ahead of Sunday’s clash in Mount Florida, Clement commented: “I saw the things that we did well [against Aberdeen] and, for sure, the things we didn’t do well, and that’s what we discussed today.
“With the right mentality, attitude and spirit, things can change really fast.
“We’re working really hard on that with all the group, on and off the pitch, knowing what to do and what this club is all about.
“Every loss is a drama and a bad thing, and that’s what you need to live with and embrace.
“We’re going to continue working hard with the squad to have that in the mind and then to bring more consistency in the good moments.
“You see in moments where it goes well, and that’s what we need to turn around.
“Those are the basics and that was one of the strengths last season; in difficult moments the team dug in and changed things around.
“We’ve been good when we’ve started well and scored the first goal; we need to make this step with the group all together.
“That’s what this club needs. I’ve spoken so many times about this mindset and that’s what I want to live in.”
The Gers currently sit off the pace at this early juncture in the Scottish Premiership campaign and are aiming to get the winning feeling back among the group this weekend following defeat in the north-east.
There have been notable results this campaign for the Ibrox side, including impressive victories on the European stage against Malmo and FCSB.
Clement says he knows the level that his side are capable of reaching and believes his new look side are taking important steps day-by-day.
He added: “There had to be a turnaround in every sense; young players coming in and a big cut in wages and a lot of transfers.
“We wanted more outgoings transfers as a club and more money in to use that in the market, but that wasn’t possible at the end.
“It’s now the start of a better period and, yes it’s true that we don’t see it in results, there is a foundation being built for a more healthy club to grow out of that.
“Everyone knew it was not possible in one transfer window.
“Last season we turned it around in a really short period, and I’m convinced that can also happen now.
“I wish we got the victory in Aberdeen as that would have been a big step forward; we didn’t manage to do that.
“I saw a team which tried until the last second of the game and we had the header with Tav which went past the post, so it’s not as if the team are giving up.
“We’re going to continue fighting to get results our way and make things better.
“We want to be more consistent to get the football we saw against Malmo and FCSB.”
