THE Rangers Museum is a breathtaking facility and all profit from the RYDC’s Museum Lotto will help with its ongoing upkeep and maintenance. The museum features a treasure trove of Rangers memorabilia for fans of all ages to enjoy – including this Golden Boot won by legendary striker Ally McCoist.
In 581 games Super Ally scored 355 times (although a debate rages that it was actually 356) and his phenomenal striking instincts earned him 10 League Titles, 9 League Cups and a Scottish Cup.
Ally notched 251 league goals for Rangers, 27 goals against Celtic in Old Firm derbies – including two memorable hat-tricks in the 1984 League Cup Final and the 1986 Glasgow Cup Final - and he struck 21 times in European competitions.
The prolific frontman also won this Golden Boot as the top scorer in Europe in 1992 and 1993 and was a true superstar in every sense of the word.
His goals helped Graeme Souness and Walter Smith guide Rangers to 9-in-a-Row and his sparkling personality shone on and off the pitch.
