The Light Blues continued their unbeaten campaign in all competitions with a convincing triumph that ensured they sign off for the international break on a positive note.
Speaking to RangersTV after the victory, Potter reflected on a positive 90 minutes: “It was good for us to get a clean sheet and seven goals.
“There were six different goalscorers, and it’s always nice to come away with a few goals and a good performance to boot.
“I’ll always challenge them because I think we can be even more ruthless, especially in the first half.
“The main thing is that we are creating chances; it’s important that we forced the goalkeeper into making saves. She made a good few saves and the woodwork helped them out a few times as well, which means we were a bit unlucky.
“But the main thing for me is that we’re creating opportunities.
“We don’t stop. We’re never happy with just scoring one or two; we want to be ruthless and create more chances. We could have been even more ruthless, but I’m really happy overall.”
The victory was punctuated by first Rangers goals for both Rachel Rowe and Sarah Ewens after the duo arrived in Glasgow over the summer.
The former also laid on Rio Hardy to add her side’s seventh goal of the afternoon, and Potter insists there is still more to come from the summer signings.
She added: “I’m happy for both because neither player is quite at 100 per cent yet. It’s scary to think where they can get to.
“It was good to get them both minutes and build their fitness appropriately. It will be nice for them to get off the mark and hopefully there are many more to come.
“We hold ourselves to high standards. We’ll be happy with the performance overall, but we know there are moments in the game that we need to control better.
“But the main thing today is a clean sheet and three points to keep us top of the table.”
