The Light Blues marked their return to action from the winter break with a dominant 12-0 win over Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the highlands to book their place in the fourth round.
Speaking to RangersTV after the victory in their first match of 2024, the head coach was pleased with the performance and number of goals from her side.
She said: “I was impressed, I thought we stuck to our plan really well. There was some really good details in possession that I wanted us to work on this week to look in for the weeks ahead.
“I was happy with how performed in possession; it is always good to keep a clean sheet. We nullified any threat that they had but I think Inverness came with a real good game plan actually.
“They posed us a good test; it was a real worthwhile game of football for us and I am just happy that we can be in the next round.”
“We can always score more goals. I feel like I say it sometimes, we could have had a few more than what we did have, but they were meaningful attacks.
“Every time we went forward we looked threatening. I was happy with the forward play and it is the first game back after a few weeks break so to have scored 12 goals I can't really ask for more.”
The game saw eight different goal scorers from the visitors and the former Lioness was happy with the variety of strikes her side as well as keeping a clean sheet at the other end.
She continued: “It is good for the team. I say that week in week out, we look a threat from around the pitch and it is always nice to be able to score goals from different positions and different types of goals.
“There was some really excellent play in there and some excellent goals that we scored. I was happy with that attacking threat today.
“It was a chance to get Vic [Esson] some minutes today as well. I think it was important that she showcased what she can do.
“It is sometimes difficult in a game like this but she stayed concentrated the whole time and help that communication from our back line and staying switched on. It was a good chance for us to get minutes in people's legs.
The Light Blues will now learn their fate tomorrow evening in the fourth round draw as their focus now turns to their first league match of the year against Dundee United next Sunday.
She added: “It is a good time for us now to just really kick on. We will be looking forward to that draw, hopefully it is kind to us, but we are definitely looking towards Dundee next week.”
