The Gers ran out convincing 12-0 winners over Inverness Caledonian Thistle this afternoon as they began 2024 in style.
Speaking to RangersTV after the game the Wales international highlighted the performance level from the team and said she was pleased to help them progress into the Scottish Cup fourth round.
She commented: “I thought it was a good performance after coming back from Christmas. I think we showed in spells we were a little bit rusty, but some of our play was really good.
“Stuff we had been working on in the week to take into the league, so happy all round with the performance and the goals that we scored.”
“I think there were moments, I took the harder chances better than the easier ones.
“I think being a bit clinical I probably should have got a few more goals but I am happy to get on the scoresheet and help the team win.”
The midfielder said it was beneficial for the side to get back up to speed after a few weeks break and hailed the number of goals coming across the team.
She added: “I think we have shown within the league that we have got goal scorers all across the board. Just another game where we have had multiple positions scoring goals so that is good for us.
“It is difficult when you have two or three weeks without a game.
“To come back in, you can do all the fitness you want but it is different when you play match minutes. It is good step into next week and back into the league.”
