The young Gers will travel to the West Midlands to take on the Vanarama National League side as they bid for a place in the last eight of the competition.
It is the furthest the Colts have ever progressed in the Challenge Cup, beating Berwick Rangers, Stranraer and Ballymena United to secure a fourth round spot.
Defender James Maxwell spoke to RangersTV ahead of the game, he said: “We are expecting a really tough challenge against a fifth tier English league side, they are going to be good.
“It is really good, it gets us competitive proper games against these physical teams played in front of a crowd as well it can only help us.
The Gers have played every round of the competition so far away from home, with the winners of this match set to host Wrexham in the quarter-finals.
Maxwell added: “I think we have had a few tough ties and a few close calls but we are just taking it one game at a time and we are really looking forward to Solihull.
“It feels like we are always away these days so we feel like we are experienced in that as well.
