Rachel McLauchlan: Need To Keep Going

RACHEL McLauchlan says Rangers need to keep going as they look to pick themselves up from this afternoon’s defeat to Glasgow City.

The right-back says despite the disappointment this evening it is important the squad put it behind them as they head into a busy run of SWPL fixtures.

Speaking to RangersTV, he said: “We are all really disappointed to concede early on and then they get one just before half-time as well so we are all pretty upset and disappointed but we have got seven games to go.

“We need to pick ourselves up now, the games are coming flying starting on Wednesday with Hearts so we just need to keep going.

“It obviously was never in the plan to lose a goal so early on and then we had chances but we didn't take them and that could've changed the game.

“We will look back on this game, tonight it hurts losing like it does losing any game but tomorrow we need to come back in as a team.”

Heading into Wednesday’s home match against Hearts, McLauchlan says the squad must stay connected.

She continued: “We obviously need a reaction now and hopefully we can pick each other up and stay connected and stay close.

“This month is going to be really hard going and we now have the pressure on us so we just need to keep going.”
