Rangers Announce Academy and B Team Partnership Renewals

RANGERS Football Club are today pleased to announce the renewal of its partnerships with Academy and B Team sponsors for the 2024/25 season.

Carrick Packaging, a Glasgow-based manufacturer of steel drums, IATA cans, and plastic containers, has extended its collaboration with the club, continuing as the front-of-shirt partner for both the Academy and B Team and marking five successful years of partnership.

Carrick Packaging Operations Director, Derek Warren, said of the renewal: "We are delighted to be renewing our partnership as Official Academy and B Team Partner for the next two seasons.

“The Rangers Academy is in a very exciting place right now, with Ross McCausland’s recent contribution in the first-team, among others, underlining the commitment, professionalism and quality of personnel within the Academy structure.

“As a family business, we have made the recruitment and development of young talent a key element of our sustainability and growth, and we look forward to supporting the progress of the next generation of Rangers players.

In the meantime, AIM Building & Maintenance Services have maintained their commitment to the club, now featuring prominently on the sleeve of the B Team playing shirts, having previously held the position as the B Team front-of-training kit sponsor.

AIM Building & Maintenance Services Managing Director, Joe Bunch, continued: "Supporting the youth of the game is a huge priority for us, and aligns with our own ethos as a business.

“It is a proud day for the company to extend our commitment to the B Team, who have provided terrific exposure to our services.

“We always endeavour to keep a close eye on the progression of the players in the Academy and we’re wholly excited for what lies ahead in the partnership.”

Additionally, CSD Air Conditioning has broadened their partnership by appearing on the front of B Team training kit, alongside their existing presence on the Academy training kit.

CSD Air Conditioning Managing Director, Carlo Scaramuzza, added: "We are enormously excited to be growing our relationship with the club, focussing on the Academy and B Team.

“It has been a source of pride among all at the business to see our logo adorn the B Team training kit and it is a key core of our business to invest in young talent with a drive to better themselves each day.

“We firmly believe this campaign will be an exciting one for all in the Rangers Academy and we look forward to playing our part in the continued development of the youngsters at the club.”

Other partners supporting the Academy teams include Pipeline Energy Solutions, who continue to have their logo on the back of the B Team shirt, and Rhino Express, who continue to have their logo on the B Team shorts, whilst also adding their logo to the Academy sleeve for the 2024/25 season.

David McCallum, Rangers Head of the Professional Development Phase, continued: “We want to give our young players the best opportunity to progress, and it often goes unnoticed the financial support has a role in helping facilitate that.

“We’re very grateful for the extended commitment by the Academy partners and they have shown an unwavering faith in our vision to foster an environment where progression is expected.

“The development of Ross towards becoming a first-team regular, as well as the presence of several Academy players in Philippe’s squad, would not have been achievable without the contribution of the partners and, for that, they play a vital role in our day-to-day operations.”

Rangers appreciate the continued support from all its partners, with each playing a crucial role in the development of its Academy and B Team initiatives.
