Rangers Announce Pre-Contract Signing Of Clinton Nsiala

RANGERS Football Club are delighted to announce the pre-contract signing of Clinton Nsiala from AC Milan. Clinton will officially join the club on July 1 subject to international clearance and a successful work permit application.

The 20-year-old defender will become the third arrival of the summer following the additions of Jefte and Oscar Cortes, and is an exciting prospect for the future at Ibrox.

Nsiala joined the youth academy of Cercle Paul Bert de Bréquigny at age six, before making the move to Nantes as a 15-year-old.

The young defender spent two years in the youth ranks of the Ligue 1 side, impressing sufficiently to earn a move to AC Milan in 2021.

From there, Clinton was a regular fixture in Milan’s Under-19s side who reached the final of the prestigious UEFA Youth League last term, starting nine of the ten fixtures across the campaign.

In the meantime, the 20-year-old was included in the matchday squad for several of Milan’s Serie A outings last season, earning valuable experience under manager Stefano Pioli.
