Ross McCausland, Ben Williamson, Nathan Young-Coombes, Chris McKee and Alex Lowry were all on the scoresheet for the Light Blues.
Brian Gilmour and Kevin Thomson’s side started strong as Nathan Young-Coombes was first to have an effort on goal but it was saved comfortably by goalkeeper Iain Ure.
The young Rangers side were ahead after just 14 minutes as Young-Coombes linked up with Chris McKee who found Ross McCausland in space on the edge of the box. McCausland drilled a right-footed effort towards goal which beat the keeper at the post.
The lead was doubled just 10 minutes later as captain Ben Williamson stepped-up to take a free-kick from around 25 yards out. His effort took a small deflection on its way towards goal as East Stirlingshire tried to block the effort but it landed in the back of the net.
Rangers continued to threaten going forward and added a third on the 36th minute. McKee again found the run of Ross McCausland but his shot at goal was pushed away by Iain Ure. Nathan Young-Coombes was quick to react to the follow-up and slotted the ball home – colliding with the post in the process.
Ross McCausland had another chance for Rangers before half-time but his shot was just over the bar.
Into the second half, East Stirling had an opportunity from a set piece early on as a free-kick was swung into the box and turned towards goal by a trialist but it was held by Nicky Hogarth.
Rangers continued to create chances as Robbie Fraser picked out Chris McKee with a lovely ball forward but his shot was saved by the keeper, before Dapo Mebude also saw an effort pushed away by Ure.
The fourth goal did come shorty after as McCausland fed the ball through to Chris McKee who lifted it over the keeper and into the back of the net.
Just a minute later East Stirlingshire got one goal back as another of their trialists for the game headed home a cross.
Substitute Alex Lowry added a fifth for Rangers in the final 10 minutes as he worked his way to the edge of the box before firing a powerful shot into the back of the net.
