RANGERS International Soccer Academy can today announce a new three-year agreement with Burlington Force Soccer in Canada.
The partnership will see Rangers Soccer Academy staff and coaches work closely with Force Soccer Academy to assist with player development and is yet another positive for Soccer Academy, adding to their portfolio of clubs in North America.
Based in Burlington, Ontario, Force Soccer Academy is committed to providing a long-term growth and development plan for players from under-six to Under-18’s.
Gary Gibson, Head of Soccer Academies and International Relations at Rangers commented: “The agreement with Force Soccer Academy is another positive step forward as we continue to drive the club’s international strategy.
“Discussion have been ongoing with Mihail Markovic for a number of months, and we are delighted that we will assist the club with player development and coach education through the Rangers Online Academy which will provide access to cutting-edge footage of our coaching staff and Academy players.
“Rangers Soccer Academy coaches will travel across to Canada this summer to deliver camp events while welcoming teams to Glasgow each year as part of the agreement which will be a mixture of football, education and leisure activities.”
Mihail Markovic, the President Force Soccer Academy also added: “Today marks a great moment for Burlington Force Soccer with the announcement of the partnership with Rangers International Soccer Academy.
“Rangers formed in 1872, have a very proud tradition and historic history that is known worldwide.
“This partnership will be a huge benefit to our players, coaches, and the parents, as we continue to expand.
“The partnership will give Burlington Force teams the ability to travel to Glasgow, Scotland and train in the Rangers Training Centre with Rangers coaches and play against Rangers Academy teams.”
