Rangers take on rivals Celtic in a huge SWPL clash with the fixture set to be played at Ibrox for the first time.
Speaking to RangersTV ahead of the match against their rivals, the striker insists the team only have one thing on their mind as they look to return to winning ways this weekend.
She commented: “There is excitement yes but I also think there is quite a lot of focus there.
“We know how important this game can be for the rest of the season but again it also doesn’t define it so I think we are preparing well and it has been a good week so far.
“We have looked at the weekend's result and what we could have done better there so I think we are ready to go.
“I think we can't put too much pressure on it though. We know how important it is but we just need to stay focused and focus on ourselves and play our game, so hopefully we come away with the three points.”
The forward has spoken on her life north of the border so far and spoke of the reasons why she decided to make the switch to Glasgow in the summer transfer window.
She continued: “I think I have settled in really well. I am really enjoying my football up here and the girls are a really great team to be a part of.
“I think you can see that in the way that I am playing and the team is playing.
“We have got a really great environment and everyone works for each other and we are all heading in the same direction which I think is really important.”
“Working under Jo was one of the main reasons that I decided to come to Rangers.
“A coach like that is just a chance that you can’t really turn down. I am really excited to keep going this season and working under Jo is really good. I think we have got a good relationship.”
Hardy has scored two winners in the Old Firm fixtures so far this season as she reflected on her derby experiences and also her first taste of Ibrox in the game against Hibs back in October where she found herself on the target in a 7-0 victory.
She added: “I just try to score in every game possible to be honest. Hopefully I can keep that going at the weekend.
“What has been the key to the Old Firm wins this season? To be honest it just everyone buying in. It is a really good environment and we are all ready to go and we prepare properly.
“We are really focused as a group, we have won twice against them already this season even coming from behind in both games which shows our great character, we are really looking forward to the game on Sunday.
“It was an incredible feeling to be honest. I was hoping to get on the scoresheet but I try not to put too much pressure on it, when it came I was just happy that I saw the ball hit the back of the net.
“It would be fantastic so we are hoping to get another big crowd, even more hopefully so I am really looking forward to that.”
