Ben Davies – Birmingham City
Ben played from the off as Birmingham were edged in an FA Cup thriller at home to Newcastle United on Saturday evening.
The Midlands club took the lead against the Carabao Cup finalists, but Eddie Howe’s side roared back to secure their passage to the next round.

Kieran Dowell – Birmingham City
Kieran also made his second successive start in midfield for the Blues in the cup defeat to Newcastle.
The 27-year-old was joined in the starting lineup by former Gers winger Scott Wright as Birmingham now shift their attention towards their push for promotion.

Rabbi Matondo – Hannover 96
Rabbi was rewarded with a start after marking his debut with a goal against Hamburg in the previous week.
The 24-year-old played 65 minutes as Hannover were held to a second consecutive draw – this time against Fortuna Dusseldorf – in the second-tier of German football.

Jose Cifuentes – Aris Thessaloniki
Jose started and played the full 90 minutes as Aris produced a crucial 2-0 victory over Panathinaikos.
The Ecuadorian has been a mainstay in the side in recent weeks and has helped Aris to four successive clean sheets.

Cole McKinnon – Ayr United
Cole started from the off as Ayr United were edged out by a late Hibernian goal in their Scottish Cup clash on Friday evening.
The 22-year-old more than held his own in midfield and he will hope to carry his positive form into the Honest Men’s league outings as they eye promotion to the Scottish Premiership.

Robbie Fraser – Livingston
Robbie started as Livingston sealed their place in the last eight of the Scottish Cup with a 3-0 home triumph over Cove Rangers.
The 21-year-old full-back was ineligible as the Lions marched into the SPFL Trust Trophy final, but he will hope to be involved further as Livi moved one step closer to a Hampden semi-final.

Archie Stevens – Dunfermline Athletic
Archie made his first start for Dunfermline in their Scottish Cup trip to face Aberdeen at Pittodrie on Sunday afternoon.
It was a terrific occasion for the 19-year-old to mark only his second start in senior football, but he was unable to prevent the Pars from being roundly defeated by their Scottish Premiership hosts.

Kieran Wright – Airdrieonians
Kieran continued his spell between the posts for Airdrieonians as they exited the Scottish Cup at the hands of Dundee at Dens Park.
It was a bitter pill to swallow for Kieran and his teammates, with Lyall Cameron, who will join the Gers this summer, grabbing a goal and two assists for the Tayside club.

Josh Gentles – Alloa Athletic
Josh continued his impressive start to life on loan at the Wasps by teeing up the side’s second goal in their 2-2 draw with Montrose at the weekend.
Still only 17, the teenager now has a goal and an assist for Alloa as they continue their push for promotion to the Scottish Championship.

Kristian Webster – Dumbarton
Kristian made his third successive league start for Dumbarton as they were on the wrong end of a 2-1 defeat to Annan Athletic on Saturday afternoon.
The 19-year-old has wasted precious little time in establishing himself in the side as he searches for his first victory for the Sons.

Leyton Grant – Stirling Albion
Leyton made his fifth successive league start for the Binos in their 3-1 triumph over Elgin City at Forthbank on Saturday afternoon.
The Scotland Under-19 international has formed an important part of a three-man backline for Stirling Albion who arrested a two-game losing run with a victory at the weekend.

Jack Harkness – Stirling Albion
Jack, meanwhile, was on the scoresheet for the Binos as he doubled their advantage in the second half.
The triumph marked a 20th appearance of the season for Harkness who has enjoyed a consistent campaign in League Two.

Darren McInally – Cumbernauld Colts
Darren made his debut for Cumbernauld Colts in their 3-2 victory over Cowdenbeath at home on Saturday afternoon.
The 20-year-old joined the Lowland League side last week and he will be hoping to make an impression during his first loan spell in senior football.

Jacob Pazikas – Gala Fairydean Rovers
Jacob, meanwhile, joined Gala Fairydean Rovers on loan for the remainder of the campaign and went straight into the starting lineup.
Unfortunately, his side were edged by East Stirlingshire at home, but the 20-year-old will nonetheless be keen to retain the jersey going forward.

Eilidh Austin - Motherwell
Eilidh appeared in a Motherwell jersey for the first time having made the temporary switch to the fellow SWPL side on deadline day.
The youngster was introduced as a second half substitute in her team’s 4-1 home success over Spartans on Sunday, as she looks to earn regular game time in what remains of the season.

Sophie Black – Motherwell
Sophie was recalled to the starting side who picked up another three valuable points in league action as they look to secure a top-six finish before the league’s split phase.
They host Aberdeen this Sunday knowing a point will be enough to secure their spot in the top half with the youngster involved in Scotland Under-17’s action this week.

CaCee McKenna – Spartans
CaCee was introduced as a second half substitute in the defeat at K-Park as Spartans were comfortably beaten in the league fixture.
They will have the opportunity to respond in their final match before the first international break of 2025 kicks in, when they take on Dundee United on Sunday.

Lily Boyce – Queen’s Park
Queen’s Park returned to league exploits having not been involved in last weekend’s Scottish Cup action as they were beaten 2-0 at home to Hibs.
The Glasgow side put up a good fight against the Edinburgh high fliers but were ultimately on the wrong end of the result with the youngster starting her third outing in a row since making the switch across the city.

Millie Paton – Queen’s Park
Millie was also involved in the contest as she featured for the final 23 minutes of the match played at Ochilview Park.
The youngster has been a regular for the Spiders this season and will be hopeful of earning a recall to the starting side when they face Hearts in the capital this weekend.

Sophie Rutherford – Queen’s Park
The 16-year-old joined up with the fellow SWPL side on a loan deal until the end of the season last weekend and was immediately put into the starting lineup for their home league fixture.
Putting in an excellent performance over the 90 minutes it was in fact her first start in senior football as she hopes to gain valuable experience featuring in the top-flight in what remains of the campaign.

Abi Tobin – Hamilton Academical
Hamilton were in action twice over the last week in which the SWPL 2 league leaders took just a point from their two outings.
The youngster was in the starting lineup as they shared four goals in a 2-2 draw with Ayr United in midweek before again featuring as they were beaten 3-1 in the capital by Boroughmuir Thistle at the weekend.

Kirsten Love – Hamilton Academical
Kirsten was also involved in both squads as Hamilton suffered defeat in league action for just the second time this season at the weekend.
She was in the starting side for the draw in Ayrshire before dropping to the bench on Sunday with the Accies now looking to respond when they host Gartcairn in their next outing.

Sophie Townsley – Hamilton Academical
The forward was absent for the draw on Wednesday evening but did return to the starting lineup for the weekend’s defeat at Meadowbank Stadium.
Despite the results, Bobby Watson’s side still maintains a six-point lead at the top of the second tier standings as they target promotion back to the top-flight for the first time of asking.

Abby McMillan – Kilmarnock
The young defender was an unused substitute as Kilmarnock claimed a vital three points in league action with a 3-2 win over St Johnstone.
Abby has been in and out of the team this campaign so far but will be hopeful of a recall to the starting ranks in their final match before the break when they host Livingston on Sunday.

Jess Linden – Kilmarnock
Jess was named in the starting side for the win in Perth as the Ayrshire side kept pace at the top of the SWPL 2 standings.
Results went in their favour over the last seven days, with the gap to leaders Hamilton cut down to six points.

Mia McArthur – Gartcairn
Having joined the SWPL club until the end of the season at the weekend, Mia was involved from the off in their emphatic 7-0 win over Rossvale in Scotland’s second tier.
She spent the first half of the campaign on loan at Livingston where she featured regularly and will be hoping to continue to do so during her spell with the side that currently occupies fourth in the standings.

Madison Maxwell – Gartcairn
Madison was back involved for Gartcairn and played her part impressively in the dominant display.
She provided a couple of assists whilst getting on the scoresheet herself as she will look to continue on that form when her team next take on the league leaders this Sunday.

Summer Laird – Livingston
Summer was in action twice over the last seven days as Livingston claimed four points in league action.
She appeared as a 74th minute substitute in the midweek success over St Johnstone before returning to the starting lineup as her team played out a 1-1 draw with Ayr.
