John Souttar – Scotland
Spain v Scotland – Thursday, October 12 – UEFA Euro 2024 Qualifier – Kick-off 7.45pm
France v Scotland – Tuesday, October 17 – International Friendly – Kick-off 8pm
John have been called into Steve Clarke’s Scotland squad for this month’s international matches.
Scotland will be looking to secure their place at next year’s European Championships finals and will do so if they avoid defeat on Thursday in Seville, or if results go their way on Sunday night.
The Scots will then travel to France to take on the World Cup runners-up in a testing friendly match at the Decathlon Arena in Lille five days later.
Borna Barisic – Croatia
Croatia v Turkey – Thursday, October 12 – UEFA Euro 2024 Qualifier – Kick-off 7.45pm
Wales v Croatia – Sunday, October 15 – UEFA Euro 2024 Qualifier – Kick-off 7.45pm
Borna has once again been called-up to the Croatia squad as they continue their qualifying campaign for Euro 2024.
Croatia currently sit top of the Group D table, with goal difference separating themselves and their Thursday opponents with Zlatko Dalic’s side having a game in hand.
After facing Turkey they will travel to Cardiff to take on Wales three days later as they look to move closer to sealing their place in next year’s finals.
Ridvan Yilmaz - Turkey
Croatia v Turkey – Thursday, October 12 – UEFA Euro 2024 Qualifier – Kick-off 7.45pm
Turkey v Latvia – Sunday, October 15 – UEFA Euro 2024 Qualifier – Kick-off 7.45pm
Ridvan will be part of the Turkey squad for their upcoming Euro qualifiers as they look to move closer to sealing their place in Germany for the tournament next summer.
The full-back will be up against fellow Gers teammate Borna Barisic as the top two in Group D face off before his country hosts Latvia three days later.
Jose Cifuentes – Ecuador
Bolivia v Ecuador – Friday, October 13 - FIFA 2026 World Cup Qualifier – Kick-off 12am
Ecuador v Colombia – Wednesday, October 18 – FIFA 2026 World Cup Qualifier – Kick-off 12.30am
The South American World Cup qualifiers continue this month, with Jose Cifuentes called up to the Ecuador squad once again.
Ecuador are looking to keep their World Cup dream alive after starting the campaign with a points deduction and losing their opening game to Argentina. However, they defeated Uruguay 2-1 last time out.
They will take on Bolivia in the early hours of UK time on Friday morning before hosting Colombia five days later.
Abdallah Sima – Senegal
Senegal v Cameroon – Monday, 16 October – International Friendly – Kick-off 7.30pm
Abdallah has been recalled into the Senegal squad for the upcoming break replacing the injured Nicolas Jackson in the squad.
Aliou Cisse’s men will take on fellow African side Cameroon in a friendly this Monday evening.
Leon King - Scotland Under-21s
Scotland U21s v Hungary U21s - Friday, October 13 - UEFA Euro U21 Qualifier – Kick-off 7pm
Scotland U21s v Malta U21s – Tuesday, October 17 – UEFA Euro U21 Qualifier – Kick-off 5.30pm
Leon has been named in the Scotland U21s squad for their upcoming Euro qualifiers against Hungary and Malta.
Scotland will first welcome Hungary to Fir Park on Friday evening, before Malta are the visitors to Lanarkshire as the young Scots look to register their first points of the qualifying campaign after last month’s defeat to Spain.
