Rangers Under-19s will compete in the revamped competition and have been drawn to face Stenhousemuir, Stranraer, Queen of the South, Annan Athletic, Dumbarton and Hamilton Academical, all of which will be played away from home.
The top 22 teams in the League Phase will progress to the knockout stages, where they will be joined by ten Scottish Championship clubs.
The competition will kick off on the midweek of August 12/13, with the league phase concluding on Tuesday, November 11.
