RANGERS have been drawn at home to the winner of University of Stirling vs St Johnstone in the second round of the Sky Sports Cup.
The draw for the first and second rounds of the competition was made at Hampden Stadium this afternoon with the Light Blues beginning their trophy defence with a match against the victors of the first round matchup between the SWPL 2 sides.
The Gers are the current holders after winning the trophy for the third season running with fantastic a 5-0 win over Hibs at Fir Park back in March, as the team went on to secure back-to-back cup doubles last campaign.
The tie is scheduled to be played on Sunday, 5 October, with ticket sales and venue for the match being communicated in due course.
