RANGERS are delighted to announce that we will host Manchester United in a friendly on Thursday evening.
The FA Women’s Super League side will provide another strong test for Malky Thomson’s squad as they look ahead to the start of the Scottish Women’s Premier League season.
Manchester United reintroduced a women’s side in 2018 and gained promotion from the FA Women’s Championship in their first campaign.
Gers’ Lizzie Arnot and Jane Ross will be familiar to Marc Skinner’s side as they both previously played for the Manchester club.
Women’s and Girls’ Football Manager Amy McDonald said: “We are delighted to be able to host Manchester United at the training centre in what will be another fantastic test for our squad ahead of the start of our league campaign.
“It will be another great challenge and for our squad against a top side and can only help us develop and learn as a team going forward into this season.”
