It was the first goal for the midfielder since returning from four months out with a back injury and she believes she is continuing to get stronger each game.
Speaking to RangersTV at full-time she said: “I just pressed the girl, shot and it went in and was delighted. It is my first goal since my injury so I am really happy to get that one in. At the beginning of the year I was aiming to add more goals to my game so since I have come back I've got one pretty quick and I am delighted.
“I am getting there, I wouldn't say I am 100 per cent but I feel like I am a lot sharper. I came back sharper than I expected because it has been so long but I am really happy and the game time that I am getting is really helping me get back up to my full sharpness.”
Reflecting on this afternoon’s team performance, Reilly believes they showed ‘focus’ to stick to their game plan and leave Motherwell with three important points.
She continued: “I thought we dominated in the first-half, we kept a lot of the ball and managed to switch play but credit to Motherwell they came out all guns blazing in the second-half and they were pressing us really high. We struggled a bit but we managed to focus and stick to our game plan and come away with the win so we are all delighted.
“We came here a few weeks ago and it was the same so it was nice to control the first-half this time so it wasn't as frantic but I think we coped really well. We focused on that a lot in training this week because we knew they were going to come with that.”
