The Light Blues added the Scottish Cup to their Sky Sports Cup success on the final day of the campaign to round off a domestic cup double in Jo Potter’s first season in charge.
Speaking to RangersTV after committing to the club for the next two seasons, the striker is looking forward to what’s ahead after an impressive first 12 months in Glasgow.
She commented: “I think we have obviously had a good season; it is something that we can build on going into next season.
“We will have to wait and see what happens over the summer if we bring in any different players and see how they adapt to the group and things like that.
“I think domestic success and just go as far as we can in Europe. I think we are aiming for the group stages so it is exciting times.
“Winning silverware that is a big reason why I wanted to stay and I have just really enjoyed my time here so far so I am really happy to extend.”
The striker spoke of the expectation of joining a club like Rangers having made the switch from Durham last summer, as she reflected on her first season in Scotland and getting the chance to play European football in the next campaign, having done so during her time in Cyprus with Apollon Ladies.
She continued: “I think it was an expectation when I was coming up here.
“I thought Rangers is a massive club and I realised that as soon as I stepped through the door.
“It was a great experience, obviously you want to test yourself against the best and the Champions League is an opportunity to do that.
“I do feel like I do have a bit of unfinished business, we didn't go as far as we wanted to go in that competition, so I think I am really excited to get back into that next season.”
The 27-year-old enjoyed a fantastic first season in front of goal for the Light Blues, finding the target on 34 occasions as she spoke of picking up the club’s top goalscorer award.
She added: “It was a nice personal achievement; I think it was something I strived for when I came in.
“Obviously I didn't know what to expect of the league, the team and club and everything.
“I think it was really nice to score as a much as I can and Kirsty has obviously assisted quite a lot of them so it has been nice to work with her and the rest of the girls.”
