Nine Rangers players were involved in the Scotland squad as they enjoyed a highly impressive camp with back-to-back European Championship qualifying victories, securing a play-off spot in the process.
There were starts for Gers captain Nicola Docherty and Chelsea Cornet as well as substitute appearances for both Kirsty Maclean and Jane Ross in the first match, with the latter reaching the fantastic milestone of 150 caps for her country as the Scots ran out 4-1 winners at Hampden.
The two nations met once again in Hungry yesterday afternoon with Pedro Martinez Losa’s side claiming a 5-0 victory in a game which included a first international goal for Cornet who rounded off an impressive season on a high, whilst there were minutes for both Hay and Ross from the bench as the Scots made it 10 points from four games.
New Rangers signing Leah Eddie was also part of the side for the second match, replacing Sarah Ewens in the squad after initially representing her country at Under-23 level last week.

Two Gers youngsters were involved in the Scotland Under-23s squad for a pair of friendlies against Denmark over the international break.
There was a start in the first outing for Jodi McLeary, as the Scots fell to a narrow defeat with fellow club teammate Mia McAulay finding the back of the net in a 2-1 loss.
The winger was named in the side from the beginning for the second meeting between the teams on Sunday as came out on top with a 3-1 win to round off their last camp of 2023/24.
Rachel Rowe – Wales

Rachel was involved in the Wales camp over the break as they played out consecutive draws in Group B4 against Ukraine.
The two teams cancelled each other out on Friday evening with the playmakers introduced from the substitutes bench for the match in Parc y Scarlets in Llanelli.
The PFA Women’s Player of the Year was then named in the starting lineup as the Welsh were seconds away from a priceless qualifying win but for a 97th minute equaliser from the hosts as they match ended 2-2 with Wales currently sitting second in the group ahead of the next break in July.

Victoria was part of the New Zealand squad who took on Japan in a pair of friendlies in Murcia, Spain as they continued their preparations for competing in this summer’s Olympic Games.
The shot stopper was named on the bench in the first meeting between the sides as the Football Ferns fell to a 2-0 defeat.
They faced off once again on Monday afternoon with the goalkeeper not involved due to illness as they suffered a second loss by a 4-1 deficit.
